July 31 BWA workshop: Learn how to use a rain barrel

Have you ever wished for a more efficient way to water your garden, keep your car clean and save money all while helping the environment? A rain barrel can do all this and more.

Brodhead Watershed Association is holding an in-person workshop on Saturday, July 31. The workshop will discuss what rain barrels do, how to assemble and install one, and the many uses of rainwater around the house.

The workshop will be held 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 31, at Brodhead Creek Heritage Center, 1539 Cherry Lane Road, East Stroudsburg.

The workshop is free.
