August 20, 2022 Snorkeling at Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge

The next BWA Get Outdoors Poconos event will be held at the Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge in Stroudsburg, in partnership with the Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center.  Note that there has been a change of location to Cherry Valley.  This event is not being held at Pasold Farm.

There will be programs for both adults and children ages 6 & up. We will observe creek critters like trout, minnows, and amphibians. We will also see mayflys, caddisflys, & stoneflys in action!

Note: Plan to get wet and dress accordingly. Wear water shoes (no flip-flops) and bring a towel & change of clothes. Masks & snorkels are provided if you do not have one.

Space is limited – please RSVP by email to info@brodheadwatershed.org

This event is part of the Get Outdoors Poconos series administered by Brodhead Watershed Association and supported by a grant from the William Penn Foundation. For program details, visit: brodheadwatershed.org/gopoconos/
