August 20, 2022 Snorkeling at Pasold Farm

The next BWA Get Outdoors Poconos event will be held at Pasold Farm Nature Preserve in Barrett Township, in partnership with the Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center.

This 64 acre parcel includes a quarter mile of Brodhead Creek frontage, and features a wide variety of habitats to explore.

There will be programs for both adults and children ages 6 & up. We will observe creek critters like trout, minnows, and amphibians. We will also see mayflys, caddisflys, & stoneflys in action!

WHERE: Parking for Pasold Farm is located off of Spruce Cabin Road, (south of the Canadensis light on Rt. 447). Cross the bridge and take the first right. Continue to the parking area on the left. Here you can see the old stone foundation that was once a barn. If you continue on the road there is additional parking on the right for the Community Garden, and at the end on the left.
GPS coordinates:  41°11’00.1″N 75°15’09.7″W
