Woodcock Watch
Ever heard of a timberdoodle? Mudsnipe? Night partridge? These are all folk names for the American woodcock. Set out in search of the long-billed birds on an evening walk with Roger Spotts. You’ll hit the trails at dusk when the birds are most active. Meet at the Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center at 6:30 p.m. to head for Sherwood Forest. Admission is free. Space is limited. Please pre-register through the booking form below.
