Moonlight Hike at Mount Wismer with Darryl Speicher

Saturday, Oct. 15th at 6:30 p.m.
Mount Wismer provides one of the finest views across the entire breadth of the Brodhead Watershed, from the top of the middle branch all the way to the Delaware Water Gap. The trail is typically closed at sunset, but we’ll be taking advantage of this rare opportunity to take in the view by night.
The hike is moderate and will last approximately two hours. Please note this terrain includes a steep climb. Participants should dress for the weather and wear comfortable hiking shoes. A flashlight or headlamp is REQUIRED, although we will do our best to allow our eyes to adjust to the night and spend time without artificial light. As always, it’s a good idea to bring water and even a small snack.

Registration for this event is now closed.
